Hi Janet. I read your post concerning the protein drinks, I'm three months post-op and I had a similar problem. I just couldn't stand the taste of any of them----including the expense. Anyway, the other day I was grocery shopping and lo-and-behold in the diet section was a soy-protein drink powder mix made by SlimFast. I thought the price is reasonable, I may as well try it. So I bought it, brought it home and tried it. I actually liked it! It has 15 grams of protein per 8 fluid ounces. Just an idea! Hope it helps. Sincerely, Lori Ann

Well, I leave tomorrow for Louisianna. I'm still not nervous, just upset I don't have more time to get things done. My dad is coming to stay with our daughter and I want the house to be perfect. Well it is not, but he will deal with it. Keep me in your thoughts and I will see you on the other side. J

Hi Janet, May the hand of God guide your surgeon and hold your hand as well. Just make peace with your decision, take a deep breath, say a prayer and everything will be fine. We never know what life has in store for us....win the lottery, get hit by a truck, or lose 100 lbs and start a new life. So worrying just won't help. Your friends here at AMOS are with you all the way and looking forward to your way-ins and new success stories. You go girl....we are holding your hand. HUGS! Carol Percel
