Kim, How are you doing? I haven't seen you on the board lately? I hope you aren't having a rough time of it. Just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts! Good Evening AMOS family... Just wanted to let everyone know that I was able to speak with Kim today on the phone - it was truly a pleasure to speak to her after e-mails back and forth. Kim sounded great and full of spirit and she said for just having this lap surgery yesterday she is surprised how well she feels and she has so stitches on the outside, just little incisions. She said she has been walking and was awaiting her leak tests. Kim is hoping to be able to come home Friday. I'm very glad I have been able to lend support to Kim and look forward to my surgery also with Dr. Krause in the future. Congratulations again Kim - wishing you only the best, godspeed and hoping to hear from you soon....Ms-Who-T-Who

Hello everyone, I talked to Kim's sister yesterday, all went well with the surgery. From my understanding she is in good spirits and I'm sure will be so happy to know you are all praying for her. I'm going to try and talk to her today and I will keep you all updated. -KW

Kim, you're almost THERE! (On the losing side.) Just remember that the first few weeks are the hardest, and you feel like you'll never feel *normal* again, but then - before you know it - everything's going smoothly, you're losing weight like crazy, and you are THRILLED you had the surgery! (I wish someone would've told me that! You feel so weird at first when you try to eat/drink anything. IT PASSES, trust me!) Good luck to you!!! *hugs*
