Hi Kelly, Take heart, plateaus are quite common. I am almost 6 months out (and down 75 lbs.) and had one at 3 weeks that lasted until week 7. I was frantic! I just made sure I was eating right and got myself in gear to increase my exercise and the scale finally started moving again. If you have just started exercising, you may be increasing muscle, which weighs more than fat. My best advice is to get off the scale and get out your tape measure. I think sometimes your body just has to "rest" and rearrange itself. And don't forget, you are recovering from MAJOR surgery. So be patient with it and don't beat yourself up over this plateau. Just make sure you're getting in lots of protein, cut back on the carbs. Best Wishes! Kathy Pearl

Hello Kelly~“Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.” William Jennings Bryan. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you only have one life and one chance to do all the things that you want to do. The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way! May God hold you in the palm of His hand and Angels watch over you!
