I am doing pretty well. Holding my weight at 146 pretty much all the time. I am still eating some sugar (cookies), but not a lot. One thing I did to increase fruit into my diet is now I make smoothies.....and they are delicious. I make them with cucumber, celery, apple, frozen fruit including mangoes, blueberries and whatever else I have on hand. then I add in a scoop of protein powder. That is usually my lunch.
Still have acid reflux, but I take a ranitidine at night and that seems to control it pretty well. Not throwing up as often, as long as I make sure to slow down when I eat. :)
Taking care of Dad each day too.
