My name is Linda Rodriguez, I have been overwieght all my life, more now than before. I had some issues with pregnancy miscarriage that led me to a depression and I packed on the pounds easily. I also have Polycystic ovarian disease, and I am insulin resistant. I want to have children in the future but I need to loose weight to do it. I am now weighing at 256, BMI is 45. I am trying to do my research with which proceedure I want to go with. I think I have steered from restrictive and am going towards mal absorptive.
Other facts about me is I am married since 2003, I have no children of my own yet. I work in the medical field for a cardiologist. I am looking for anyone to enlighten me by telling me their sucess stories about their journey to weight loss.

WOW, this above was written in 2006, Now I'm back and writing this second part in June 2011. I didn't have the surgery I was aiming for back then...Marital problems and I lost my insurance. Anyways I stayed with my husband and now that I have a job with insurance I am now again looking into getting the Bariatric Surgery...This time I am a much better blogger and will be updating my status's according to any changes about this journey. Thanks again for those who are still my friend from the first go around and I look forward to making new friends this go around!
