Noel Williams

"Well I have finally gotten to meet with Dr. Williams. I immediately got the impression that he is caring and takes all the time necessary to describe the surgery and answer any questions. I don't think that I will have any problems, he definitely gave me the impression that I will go through this surgery fine(he actually told me so). It was very comforting. I think that he is highly qualified and his staff is all very nice. They are all very competent at their jobs. They all emphasis aftercare, which is soo important. I liked that, that they want you as educated as you can be, then help you through the whole process. The only thing I think I can say that I didn't like was the 3hrs I had to wait to see him. But I guess if he didn't have soo many people waiting for him, he probably wouldn't be that good of a surgeon. I feel he has a good bedside manner and excellent surgical competence. But I guess I can comment more after I have the surgery.<br> POST OP- I am so glad I went with Dr. Williams, he is an awesome surgeon and a very nice man. He doesn't let things go to his head, he is very personable. He visited me a couple of times while I was in and his staff visited me daily. I received such great care from everyone at his office and no question was stupid. I can't sing their praises enough. They saved my life. And here i have a clotting disorder, they took very serious and I ended up having to have a filter in and everyone was awesome. I think now after being post op I would give him a rating of 98 (nobody is perfect...lol). "

University of Pennsylvania.

"This is an awesome hospital and other than the staff being overly worked, they need to hire more nurses, I don't think you could find a better hospital. My care was awesome for the most part, very caring staff, I only had one nurse who left alot to be desired, but the rest were awesome (if not overworked), so figure I was in for 8 days, round the clock care, that is alot more good nurses and docs than just that bad one. I wouldn't go anywhere else."

Rachel Griehs

"Rachel was very good at listening to the questions of our group and answering them all. She also listened to other information that we could offer. She informed us of the things we needed to know about the surgery and aftercare as well as nutritional information."

Anthony Fabricatore

"I thought that he was very nice and funny. He is very quick with getting his reports done as well. I would highly recommend him. "

Ulhas Mayekar

"Dr. Mayekar is the Medical Director of Psychiatry at Mercy Fitzgerald Hosp. I have been seeing him for awhile and he is always accomodating and willing to listen. He keeps up on the latest medical advancements and is supportive of weight loss surgery."

Sleep Lab Riddle Memorial Hosp

"They were so nice at the sleep center. I went today for my consult (4-21-03) and I didn't feel like they treated me any differently than any other patient, so there was no size discrimination, always a plus in my book. Also, I had car trouble then got lost in the hospital.....and they were not even a little bit impatient with me and I ended up being 45min. late. (I did call and let them know). I go for my sleep study on 4-30-03. I'll update if there is any change in my feelings. Lisa I've had my sleep study and my titration, they were awesome. Very accomodating....they will get you anything that you need. It was so nice. I can't express how good they made me feel and how helpful they were. I would give them a 10+ rating on a scale of 1-10."
