Linda - We're in exactly the same boat! I, too, am about 3 months post, and experienced fatigue the last week or so. I had labs done, and several of my levels were low - thiamine (B1), protein, iron, potassium, albumin. I asked how they could be so low when I've been doing everything right, and my surgeon said most likely because of the initial healing period right after surgery when I wasn't able to ingest much of anything at all. So now I'm on supplements, and will be retested in a month. Hope everything goes well for you! -Ginger :)

I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all.~*~Hugs~*~

LINDA~~ All of us here at AMOS are addicted to food (in my opinion). I was afraid, too that the surgery would not work for me - because of my failures in the past. The surgery gives you the tools to make permanent changes in your eating habits. I feel that it's very important for you to make up your mind pre-op that you will not be able to eat the foods that you did pre-op. I have not "tested" to see if I dump on sweets (I DON'T WANT TO KNOW). Pre-op I was addicted to ice cream, chocolate, etc.... I have not had any sweets in over a year now and since I've developed that eating habit. It is not difficult now. The surgery helps you with your tummy, but it's up to you to deal with your head... (which is not easy) YOU CAN DO THIS...

Hi Linda, I do the same thing... I saw this guy in my water arobics class who had saggy skin an some scars that looked like laproscopic surgery scars. I decided to strike up a weightloss conversation and I asked him if he had lost a lot of weight (and explained I was going to be having weight loss surgery.) He told me he had lost weight but had gained some of it back. He also told me he had lost it through Weight Watchers and exercise. Here, I thought I was so smart and observant. Silly me!
