Well here we go. Nothing is gonna stop me now. OB/GYN says ok to proceed with getting my sleeve. Super stoked!!

Well, it looks like I have hit another bump in the road... I have an enlarged uterus and abnormally thick lining. Biopsy scheduled for Tuesday. Crossing my fingers for good news. Current mood: worried

Yay!! Surgeon heard back from insurance and I am going in on November 18th. I am so excited!!

Got all my blood work done the day after my appointment (needed to fast), everything came back fine. Now to wait for prior authorization from insurance to proceed. 14 days is a long time to wait so I am going to keep myself busy with diet and exercise. Next appointment will be my pre-op. Hope I can get that done this month. Getting excited!!

Hey Guys and Gals!! Great news! My Surgeon was super stoked!! She asked for 380 and I gave her 369! So with that being said October is my surgery month! I am going to Las Vegas smack in the middle so it will be the later part of the month. I am so excited!! I am going to diet and try to get down to 340 before surgery. I think I can do this! -feeling fantastic!

***UPDATE**** DUE TO HURRICANE IGNACIO COMING TO CLOSE TO US, MY FLIGHT WAS DELAYED AND APPOINTMENT WAS RESCHEDULED

Well, after the slap in the face and a motivational kick in the butt, I have lost 16 pounds in 2 weeks and I am ready to walk in that office tomorrow and get the green light! It has taken me a couple extra appointments to realize what I needed to get done before this all came to light. 

I am enjoying "fiddling around" with new foods, cooking healthier, eliminating the "whites" (bread, rice, pasta), and feeling great about my progress. So with that being said... I am going to own my appointment tomorrow and be ready for the next step!
