Hey there everyone!! I'm alive and on the road to being even more well!!! I had my surgery Wednesday at around 3, it was supposed to be at 10:30 and I must say my nerves were gettin' to me by the time they finally took me back. But, once I took my doc's hands and prayed over him, I felt fine. I came home from the hospital Friday nite and am staying with my mom and dad. I have a 46 lb 3 year old that needs tending to and I of course, can't do all of it right now!!! I weighed on mom's scales (who wouldn't measure me before the surgery because I was over 300) and it said 299 today!!! WOO HOO!!! I'm so happy. That means 17 lbs in 5 days. And, it really hasn't been hard. Today was the first day I fed my little girl and my mom really cooked a true southern meal. But, again I did wonderfully. When everyone was almost through I got out my jello cup and ate about 3 bites. Katie Margaret finished it off for me. I want to say thank you for all the prayers. You truly helped keep God's mind on my need that day. Thank God He truly cares about all of us. Anyway I'll check back in in a couple of days. Love ya, Gina

Hi There! I am typing this as you are in surgery! I know you won't be reading it until you are a "GREAT BIG LOSER!" Welcome to the loser's bench! I am praying for you as I type and praying for the angels to guide your Dr's hands and mind as he forms your 'tool' to weight loss success! Don't forget to walk, walk, walk, and sip, sip, sip! I Said a Prayer of Healing for you -- body, mind and soul -- That God would bring you comfort to restore and make you whole. I prayed you'd be surrounded by His awesome love and healing, Dispelling all anxiety or pain you might be feeling.
