Hi Magnolia, I too had my surgery on March 24, 2006 by Dr. Brader. I was in room 212. I'm not sure if you were the one accross the hall from me but it would be great if you were. I wish you the best of luck and hope that we can get through this together. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you need someone to talk to and can sympathize what you are going through. I wish you all the luck in the world and hope we can stay in contact throughout the years. Kim

Congratulations on your surgery date! I have some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another...observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense. --- May God keep you close to his side as you travel your new journey. You will have ups and downs. You can always turn to us, your AMOS family, we will give support, comfort and encouragement. You will find this will be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself as well as your family. I know that was true for me. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly. We all like to see how we are doing!!! Make sure you take pictures. It’s great to see the new you emerge!!! Not to mention the look on YOUR face when you look at those pictures and compare them in a few months! It’ll be a BIG WOW!!! Please remember too, that this is a *tool* to use. Make sure you use it wisely. Choose the right foods and measurements wisely! Feel free to look at my profile and see my ups and downs and know I’d not change a thing with anything I’ve experienced. Praise The LORD, Hey Magnolia, Before you know it your surgery will have come & gone & you will be on the losing side as I am! Sometimes it's still hard to believe! I will be going back to the Barix on March 9, 2006. Where did the time go. There were many people that encouraged me & there will be many to encourage you! The most important thing is to totally trust in the LORD! Ask HIM to go before you, your angels will be beside you & goodness & mercy will follow you. He is your light & your salvation, in whom (or what) shall you fear....NOTHING or NO ONE! Read every encouraging story you can get your hands on & accept (POSITIVELY NO NEGATIVE REPORTS!!) We SHALL believe the report of the LORD!!! Be & stay encouraged! I know the LORD will continue to BLESS & KEEP you! Prayerfully, Becky R. Childs

May the Lord plant a hedge of angels around you and give you an uneventful surgery. I am praying for you. “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; Surely, I will heal you.” (2 Kings 20:5). Save room for me on that loser’s bench. My big day is March 2nd!
