I know I'm not supposed to have caffeine but I've really been wanting hot tea so tonight I picked up some decaf hot tea. Can I use it to count towards my water intake?

I am 6 days post op and can't stomach any more bland broth. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me get some flavor into this awful clear liquid stage?

I had my surgery on Thursday and felt pretty good yesterday. Now that I'm home however I feel miserable. When should I expect to start feeling normal again?

So I got a call today from the hospital asking me all my pre op questions. The lady asked if I had been following the pre-surgery diet. I said no one told me I needed to be on a pre-surgery diet. She said that my ultra sound showed I had a fatty liver.

I was talking to a guy last night that says he hasn't been able to eat reheated chicken since his surgery? Have any of you had that proble? His wife told me they pretty much can't do left overs at all. 

Woo Hoo today was my last pre op class/appt. Surgery is a week from tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited and scared at the same time. Can't wait to start this next phase of my journey to get to a healthier me.

I am kinda worried cause I keep hearing about all these people that are on these liquid pre op diets for a couple weeks prior to surgery and the only food restriction I have from my surgeon is of course not to make my "last meal" the night before surge
