Thinking Vegan

Dec 29, 2019

I have been thinking of going completely began for 2020.

I have been pescatarian since 2017. I mostly eat vegetables now but I am trying to cut all things out except plant based food.

As far as my weight loss, I gained a little weight back but nothing major.

I am going back on my weight loss journey full force in a few days.

I am determined to not fail at this journey.

I got this!

Meatless Me!

Jan 04, 2018

So I have been pescatarian Since November 2nd, 2017.
2 months in and my stomach definitely feel different and lighter!

I would love to say I am headed towards a plant-based life.

I still eat eggs, cheese, and milk but I have swapped milk for Almond milk and I eat far less cheese and eggs.

I LOVE seafood. I am a Floridian so I grew up on it and i can't see myself never eating it again but I can't promise that.

I can try!

I will definitely not eat meat again.

I know that for sure!

I will keep you all posted!

Joined The Gym

Apr 16, 2017

I FINALLY joined a gym! It is WELL past time I did! I am at a stand still with my weight and I know it's because I have NOT been working out!

I can acknowledge and admit my flaws and work to change them!

I joined Snap Fitness 24/7.

It's a smaller gym and opend 24/7, hence the name.

I will be going as soon a my card arrives.

I'm excited but also dreading the way you feel when you first start working out lol

Wish me luck!

I am FINALLY Under 300!

Mar 26, 2017

I finally made it to 295 (70+ pounds down so far). I had a set back when I went into the hospital for Hypokalemia. I was malnutritioned and had very low potassium.

I have NOT had an easy road. I suffer from severe nauseau. I am on meds for it several times a day.

I USED to have a cast iron stomach. Not anymore.

I am finally able to eat normally but still forget to take my B-12, Calcium and one a day vitamin. I need to set daily reminders.

I can eat chili and salad. I REFUSE to drink protein shakes because they make me super sick. I wish you all well with the Premier shakes.

I just pray and hold onto God's hand to keep my strength up. I feel weak more often than not.

I am finally back to work so it keeps me distracted from not feling 100%.

I will stay in prayer and I pray you all are doing well also!

15 Pounds Down

Dec 20, 2016

I ordered a scale for the first time in my life. I need to track my progress.

I am down 15 pounds!

I am excited but I know I won't publicly document every weight loss so as not to get discouraged.

I am still excited and hopeful!

I Am Finally Sleeved!

Dec 17, 2016

I got my surgery!

I am excited!

I am dealing with the gas from when they fill your stomach but other than that the pain pills help.

I am up and moving around.

I have had cottage cheese, applesauce, Popsicles and broth and it's filling me up .

I'm struggling with my water intake.

I took my Flintstones and going to take my calcium chewable my doctor gave me.

I will keep you all posted on my life after the sleeve!

Tomorrow is The Day!

Dec 14, 2016

I am completely nervous! I am actually petrified to be more accurate! I have never been under and I am a nervous wreck. I just have to pray because I am so anxious! Thanks to everyone that listened to every rant, complaint and worry I have had for the last six to eight months and everyone that prayed for me or wished me well!

Six Days Away

Dec 08, 2016

I am six days away from surgery and I am SO excited and SO nervous!

I still have a wound vac on my leg but it's coming off before the surgery. I am healed enough for them to take it off and do regular wound dressings/wraps of my leg. I was worried bceause of my finaces but my insurance sent me a check to cover expenses. It was an unexpected blessing for me and I  am thankful for it!

Pray for my nerves to diminish and everything to go smoothly!
