2 Days Pre-Op (TMI)

Today is Saturday and my surgery is bright and early on Monday. I'm currently on day 2 of my clear liquids diet (sigh) and have taken my second dose of SuPrep (ewwwwwwww!) I almost couldn't get it all down, I wanted to vomit. It's so gross tasting!!! I feel like I've been on the toilet ALL day. I want a cracker or something dry instead of broth and juice and water! I am really looking forward to my little medicine cup of scrambled eggs post op lol. I've been browsing before/after photos all day on this site to get my motivation lol.

I'm very nervous about my surgery but I've been chatting all night with an old friend who had her RNY back in OCT '10. She's definitely made me feel better about my decision. All of the naysayers or soothsayers or whatever you want to call them have been trying to talk me out of doing this for months upon months. Everyone knows someone who has died from gastric bypass. It's weird because other than my 1 friend who has done GREAT I don't know anyone that has had the surgery let alone anyone who has died. Granted I now know plenty who have been through it but before actively seeking it myself I didn't know who did and didn't have it. People have been coming out of the woodwork saying they had it done. People you would never imagine! And a lot of them don't eat right now so I can definitely foresee their weight coming back eventually.

My menu today was as follows for those that are trying to get an idea of the clear liquid diet:

Breakfast:
Woke up to a Fuze Slenderize watermelon strawberry drink

A couple sips of Welch's Grape no sugar added juice

A lemon lime gatorade (best thing all day!)

Lunch: 
Lipton French Onion Soup with the onion bits strained out
Sugar Free Jell-o Strawberry
SuPrep Bowel Prep kit (nastiest flavored stuff ever) mixed with grape juice
Water

Dinner:
Vegetable Beef soup by campbells with all of the junk strained out and added chicken broth to make more volume
Pickle Juice
Jell-0

If you've ever seen the Rejected cartoons on Youtube.... I'm the little cloud guy. MY ANUS IS BLEEDING! Or at least it feels like it is! 2 more days!
