Hello Monica...I wish I was posting under better circumstances. I'm sorry to hear about your father-in-law. One thing I remember during the past year was how he helped you guys out when you needed it the most, even though he was apparantly suffering himself. I thoughts and prayers are with you, her husband and family. I know that Jehovah God indeed gives you strength and endurance to cope with these battles and and your strength has definitely encouraged me. i'm glad to hear, however, that you've taken things into your own hands, and change physicans. I know that Dr Y is very skilled at what he does and should be to able to provide what you need physically and more importantly the confidence you need to get through the healing process... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! Im sorry I havent had a chance to call you, but I think about you all the time and I look forward to seeing you soon. P.S. Today is my 1year Anniversary and I weigh 213lbs (unoffically) down from my highest of 354lbs and the surgery weight of 309lbs. Just a little bit longer to hit the century mark...Im hoping it will make my New Years goal! Love ya Always, Your WLS sistah Alicia C

Monica I just read your profile. and all I can say is Praise the Lord for he never left your side. It's been a long hard road with many a winding turn for you. But prayerfully things will be straightened out for you.In all things Remember, that the one above loves you, that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you, that you be given strength, endurance, love, peace and most of all long life. In Jesus' name. God bless.

HI Monica: I hope you will be feeling better soon; you have had a rough road to travel these last few months. Hopefully with this last hospitalization, all will be up hill from here on out! I certainly hope so! *HUGS*

Hello, Friends of AMOS! This is update to Monica's condition. She went to the ER Monday, 1/13/03. She asked for Dr Sooriash who happened to be there for surgery. Together they conferred with her gastroenterologist (sp?) and he felt that she was healing too fast for the scope procedure to continue to be effective. Theyve made a decision to do a revision and cut away the damaged part and reattach it, this time with a larger hole. This will make her stomach smaller but she improve her digestion tremendously. Any, her surgery is scheduled this Friday, 1/17/03. PLEASE EVERYONE KEEP HER IN YOUR PRAYERS AND THINK ABOUT HER OVER THE WEEKEND. SHE WILL NEED YOUR SUPPORT EMOTIONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY!! Also any positive support you can give to her via email would be greatly appreciated by her and her family. I wish you the VERY BEST, Monica!
