I've finally had a few NSV's that have been giving me some confidence. I'm not really buying clothes because mostly I'm shopping out of my closet but I bought some cheap pants and tshirts - the pants were 2 sizes smaller and the shirt was a size smalle

I thought I'd jump right in and post this since one hasn't been posted yet. I've been dealing with antibiotic hell making my stomach feel crappy this week but I got some probiotic advice from Kat W. and that saved the day luckily. And when I weighed my

I had a sinus infection last week and started an antibiotic on Friday. I've never had any issues with antibiotics in the past in terms of how it affects my stomach. I started feeling better by Monday and started eating normally (I wasn't eating much la

I was sick with a sinus infection this past week and ate very little. I woke up today and felt much better, had my normal protein shake for breakfast and for lunch I had what was normal before I felt sick last week - deli chicken with ultra thin slice

I've been feeling ill this week - nothing big, but my head is killing me and been nauseated all week. I've been wanting Sprite and saltines - both of which I don't eat or drink anymore. I haven't thrown up or anything but I'm not super interested in fo

I weigh myself on Mondays and as of today I'm down a total of 51 pounds since January and 36 pounds since RNY on 3/23 so yay! I'm not buying new clothes because like a lot of us I have quite a few sizes from the last few years. At least shirts wise. Pa

I've been avoiding restaurants since surgery because I wanted to learn how to eat at home first. It hasn't been hard to avoid them because we didn't go out to eat that much anyway. But a friend of mine who lives overseas is here for the week and we're

I need help with motivation on exercise. I just am not motivated in this area and can't seem to find a way to get moving.
I'm doing really well with the food part of things, I haven't cheated at all, I'm not feeling like I'm missing out really.

I was able to go to my first support group last night and I'm glad I did, it was nice to be in the same room with people struggling with the same thing I've struggled with my whole life.
However this month it was led by a nutritionist that is t

I've been tracking in MFP for a week now at many suggestions here because I was only counting protein and water. It's definitely helpful to make me mindful of how many calories I've had in a day.
Can I get some feedback on what my numbers have

I know every ones' plan is different. I am not feeling hungry or dissatisfied with 2 oz. at all but I've seen different people say they eat 3 or 4 oz. and wondered when was the appropriate time to move up to that?

I'm trying to take the advice of a few people here to track on MFP because the other advice I've taken here has really helped. I tracked what I ate yesterday and I don't see where it tracks protein or carbs - just calories. Or am I not looking in the r

I know I'm always posting negative things here but I'm just struggling lately :(
I've been following closely what to eat and measuring out my portions to 2 oz. I haven't even thought about cheating (ok I thought about french fries yesterday but

I promised myself that I would take a class at the Y once the pain in my side went away. It went away about a week and a half ago and I signed up for a BASIC step class the next day and the first one was tonight. I was really excited about it for a cou

I ordered the mixed berry and just got them, and took the first one. Cannot stand them. I don't want them to go to waste and would send them to someone if you want them.

I was reading something I had bookmarked from before I had surgery - not from my NUT (but again my NUT sucks in general) - that said 3 meals a day was the only way to go because otherwise the weight will creep back on. I've been doing 3 meals + 2 snack

I had asked for help a few weeks ago with why I was losing slow and I got a TON of good recs on what I should be eating and what I was eating that was wrong. I've been following that advice to the T because it made a lot of sense to me - protein only a

And yes I know the obvious answer is to go to the Dr.
But I was dx with sleep apnea maybe 2 years ago (roughly) and have never been back to that Dr. He was a complete an utter ass. He made me bawl in that appt, just made me feel completely horr

My birthday was a week ago and I was in a lot of pain so I didn't do anything. I'm feeling better now and thinking I'll feel much better by this weekend, by then I'll be around 5 weeks out. My Mom is going on vacation next week and wants to do somethin

Just about a month out here. Still on soft food and working on getting protein in first and always. The goal my NUT gave me was 70-100g. I can get to about 50g with the food I'm eating, sometimes a little more. I'm supplementing with protein shakes I'm

On other message boards it was a matter of going to your own profile and you could find them from there. I can't figure it out on these forums. I'm sure I'm just missing something though.

Only 3 weeks out but I have a lot to lose so I know that people with more to lose usually lose a lot early on. That's not the case with me. I know everyone is different so I'm not freaking out - and I'm not able to do a lot yet as in moving and walking

I'm really starting to worry about this. My surgeon told me this was semi - normal and that it should be better by 3 weeks. Tomorrow is 3 weeks. In general I feel better, stronger and everything but the pain in one specific spot is no better at all. I
