Full of changes and new experiences. Congratulations to YOU!!! If you have an opportunity and/or haven’t already, please stop by and update your profile! We’d all love to know how well you’ve progressed!!! If you have a few moments, please take the time to send well wishes to your fellow “re-birthday” buddies!!! HI all I am home as of yesterday (sept 29) and doing good, I had very little pain more soreness than anything, I hated that gastric tube it gagged me so and was a sore source of pain and nausa for me, if it had not been for that I would have been fine, I did want to walk the day of surgery but the nurses that night would not let me, but I did make up for it the next day, those pumps on your feet made my feet so sore that at first it was hard to walk, but too bad that they are not adjustable, I slept very well after I got home I am so grateful for the visits from Sheilia and for the flowers and phone calls from all of my friends while I was in the hospital, I can offically say that I am a losser now!!! My dh now calls me his skinny gal! Ha I have only lost 3 pounds! I hope to be doing better as each day goes by, you know they asked me before I got on the operating table if I was sure, boy if they would have given me time to think I would have chickened out, and looked what I would have missed! I am glad that I did what I did, now as far as any other surgery, well that is like asking a lady after she has given birth is she ready for the next kid!!! OH well I just wanted to let everyone know that I am doing fine!

Hi. I am having surgery on Monday as well. Feeling the jitters but knowing this is the right thing to do and feeling really rather peaceful about the decision. I'm sure we'll both do fine. I'll be praying for you as well as all those who are joining me on Monday in becoming losers!
