"I think that this is the same surgeon who did my RNY. I lived in Huntsville, AL at the time (1999) and he performed my procedure at Huntsville Hospital. However, soon after my surgery he and his family relocated. So, I cannot be absolutely certain that this is the same Dr. Alan Walls. But, if it is, I LOVED him from the very first visit. He was caring, empathetic and kind! His staff was just as wonderful. Together, he and his staff fought the insurance company for me! Thank the good Lord above for my surgeon. I really feel that I would not be alive today if it weren't for his skill as a surgeon.rnrnUnfortunately, I cannot rate the \"after-care\" because he relocated so soon after my surgery. He did, however cover the \"life ever-after\" part very thoroughly before the operation!rnrnEverything about this man is great as far as I am concerned! He saved my life, gave me back my dignity and NEVER made me feel less than beautiful at any time!"
