Hello, I just read one of your posts on the Cali board in reference to weighing yourself. I am hopping that you realize that the weight will come off. I to had those days weeks at times that I would become depressed thinking the same thing. I am happy to say that one year and two months later I have lost 112 pounds. Please pick your spirts up and be proud of what you have lost. Take care and email me if you want to vent. SMILE!!!!

Hi, Oneida: Good luck tomorrow. I am going in the same day as you and I know we will both be fine and losers before we know it. If you are like me you are going through a full range of emotions but don't let any of them get you down. We both know the better quality of life this will bring us. God Bless and Good Luck. Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you. Sarah G LapRNY 6/22/04 295/258/150

Hi Oneida! Congratulations on your surgery date! This scripture has meant so much to me on my WLS journey. Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD , "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I pray that you will claim this promise as your own as your journey takes you to a new healthier life. God Bless You!
