So close to a new you and so many emotions! I haven't had mine yet but am hoping for this summer. My thoughts are with you before, during, and after. Keep up with the posts. They do help. With each reply you get there are 10 others you have helped or touched in some form or way. Listen to your peers and mostly your Dr. and support group. they know what you need. I'll be watching for those updated posts!

Hi everyone. Thanks for your supportive comments. I am doing great. I have been so busy attending informational meetings and dr. appts. Last week I had a stress test and this week a sleep apnia test (SP?). Plus I've given my blood to quite a few nurses. It was nothing I couldn't handle. I do have an angel...in fact I have two....you can't really have too many angels. I feel a lot of support and I'm working hard to be positive. I feel really calm. I read and re-read all my information. I even made myself a list with two columns: one said things I need to do the other things I need to buy. I read through all my flyers and listed items in those columns. It helped me be organized. I'm enjoying the beautiful days of summer. Thanks again for your messages of support. Please know that each time I receive one it is very uplifting and I return the positive thoughts.

I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK on your upcoming surgery. Take a deep breath, try to relax. Know that we all care about you and are wishing you the best. Think positive, it really does help. After surgery, REMEMBER, turn, cough, take deep breaths, and walk to prevent complications. Hold your incision when you cough, it helps it hurt less. Keep your profile updated, it may make a difference in the live of someone else. Smile, keep your chin up! And lastly, if your chin does fall, just remember, from this position it is easier to moon people! :) (Also, humor helps too!)
