Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 87 pounds!!! Good luck!

Maria, Best of luck and let me tell you it is so much easier than you are expecting. ANY pre-ops reading this...quit worrying so much. I had surgery one week ago tomorrow 2/26 and I feel so wonderful I can't even begin to describe it. The toughtest thing is getting down the protien, but I am working on that. I have had basically no pain besides a little gas....it is so much easier than you are prepared for. Good luck.

May God Bless and keep you close at his side as you go through this journey. You must be very excited and nervous all at the same time. This will be the best thing you could ever do for yourself and your family. I know it was for me. Remember you will have ups and downs. You can always turn to your AMOS family for support. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Good luck and God Bless!!!
