Hey Lynnette! I think you are doing great! Don't worry about Dr. Wongsa, I don't think his expectations are realistic! I was doing some calculations and came to the conclusion that it would take around 2619 cals a day to maintain your current weight. If you are eating sat 500 calories a day that leaves a surplus of about 2119 cals you are burning a day. Subtracting that from the 3500 cals it takes to burn a pound leaves 1381 cals burned a day and 9667 cals burned a week. Divide that by the 3500 cals means that you should be losing approx. 2.7 lbs a week. The numbers don't lie, you are losing exactly what you should be losing! Thats putting your height in at 5'6" cuz I wasn't sure of your height. *laugh* I'll make you up a chart to show Dr. Wongsa next time. *laugh* Hugs!

Great God is with you*** sharon Bishop...©*** psalms 91*** How great is the Lord!! Praise him, he is with you all your days. His blood will cover you and he will keep you in all your ways. As you walk through the valley he is there. As you cross over to the otherside he will share. For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you may be. He holds your future in HIS hands, and tomorrow his power you will see! His angels will be a fence of protection around you. God is holding your hand and seeing you through. Rest tonight in perfect peace of mind. For HE holds the surgeon's hand steady and divine. God himself will shield you with his wings so blessed. Do not be afraid, for his faithful promises are your armor and protection , and he will give you rest. So rejoice in him and take your short walk to the otherside. For you dwell in the safety of The Almighty and under his wings you SHALL abide!**** welcome to the otherside!

Yea! I just spoke with Lynette, she was very groggy, but amazingly upbeat. She said the Dr. Wongsa said the surgery was great, no problems. Lynette even laughed a bit when she told me she was thirsty, she must have remembered me saying that last week, LOL. This is wonderful news. Lynette had a Lap RNY. She is in Cy-Fair Medical Center in Houston, room 229, the phone number is 281 890-4285. She will probably be better able to share her experiences with us tomorrow. I will keep everyone updated. Lynette is my Angel and did a great job last week keeping in touch and cheering me on. I only hope I can be as inspirational for her!
