<b>Congratulations on taking this huge step in your journey and becoming an official member of the "fellowship of the switch."</b> We hope that your surgery and recovery are swift, smooth, and uneventful. It is an interesting experience and certainly not "the easy way out" of being unhealthy and obese but each day will get a little better and be further proof that you dared to dream and had the courage to act. Robert: Best of luck on your surgery! It sounds like you are in most excellent hands. I had mine 2.5 weeks ago, and the clothes are beginning to hang on me already. Take good care of yourself afterwards...walk, walk and walk some more! Sip your fluids and don't worry about the rest for a bit. You are in your prayers tomorrow. Julie in Michigan

Robert, Have the Greatest Ever on the 28th!! It’s good to see more guys out here on Obesity Help. We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. I’m just dropping by to let you know that there’s a huge crowd of strangers out here pulling for you and holding you in our prayers. Robert: Just wanted to drop by with some prayers and well wishes for you on your upcoming surgery. I have angeled for several of Dr. Schlosser's patients (I had sugery in 2004 with Dr. Chute) - and I think Dr. Schlosser is TOP NOTCH!! You're in great hands with her!
