Coming up on one year since I first joined OH and 6 months since surgery. I am doing absolutely great. No complications, type II diabetes in check, not taking any pills and my blood sugar is normal. Blood pressure and cholestoerol are in good shape and may be dropping those meds soon. The hospital I had the survey at (Moethodist Omaha NE) was outstanding and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. Would also wholeheartedly recommend my surgeon, Dr. Brad Winterstein. The surgery went so smooth and without a hitch; only minimal pain and gone in two days. I have felf more discomfort going to the dentist than this surgery. Don't know if my insurer rewarded the hospital for a bariatric program. It is Blue Cross Blue Shield Fed. Sorry I haven't been posting in recent weeks but the holidays have kept me busy. Will try to be more active positng again after the first of the year. Best wishes and happy holidays everybody.
