8 Years Out

I can't believe it is 8 years, I am doing well. I am holding well at 200 lbs and feel great. I am having some issues with anemia and needed iron infusions last fall and now I have an extremely high level of vitamin D. I would love to hear back from some of my friends from 8 years ago to see how all of you are doing.

7 Years
May 20, 2014
It's been 7 years since my Rny surgery. I am doing very well and still feel good. My life has changed and for the better. I do have some trouble from time to time such as lactose intolerance, eating turkey or any dry meat. I live with it and learn to accept it as payment for the years of abusing my body all the years previous. My life literally turned upside down and finally it seems to have righted itself, I went through a divorce and am a recovering alcoholic. I am getting married in June to a wonderful woman I met 6 years ago and will be going with her and my son to Alaska for a "Family Moon".
Life can and will improve if you give it a chance and work at it.
My best to all of you who have or will be entering the world of WLS.

WHere has the time gone?

I can't belive how long it has been since I've posted. I am 165 lbs and feeling great. If some one would have told me I would loose 100 lbs I would have said they were nuts. I get people telling me that I need to gain weight, that is crazy.

One wek to go, I am trying to kill my caffiene intake and doing pretty good, have a bit of a head ache but tolerable. I am looking forward to being done with surgery and begining to be healthy. When I look at my list of friends I find so much love, caring and support. Thanks to all of you who have made time to give me advice, compliments and the courage to go through this. You are all a great bunch of people.
Hugs and kisses to all
