"When I went into the room, I saw a flyer about Dr. Wagner. He was a minister who became a doctor, and that really peaked my interest, being a Christian. My 5-year old daughter was with me and we spent our time singing Christian songs waiting for the doctor. Apparently he was standing outside the door listening to her! When he came in, he made her promise she would sing a song for him before we left, and she did. He was a kind man, went over everything with me as far as what I could expect from the surgery. I wish I lived in the area, because he very well would be my primary care physician! A+"
"Dr. Margolis was a true delight to speak with. This was my second psych evaluation as my surgeon required that I meet with someone associated with their office. The difference was night and day between the two psychologists I met. The first one only asked me answers off a sheet of paper. Dr. Margolis really delved into my past and why I was the way I was. I was comfortable with her, and if I lived in the area would definitely consider seeing her again."
"I knew from reading the previous posts about Dr. Tanaka that he is abrupt and cheerless . . . at first. When he first walked into the room, he said hello, I said how are you, and he ignored me and went directly into why I was there. I wasn't particularly offended, I was expecting it. I'm not looking for a best friend here, I am looking for a competent surgeon. I am, after all, placing my life in his hands, and I feel Dr. Tanaka is the man for the job. He places emphasis both of pre- and post-aftercare. Towards the end of our consultation, he looked at my 5-year old daughter and asked her to come with him. He then proceeded to take her into the hallway and give her stickers and a lollipop. That only added to how impressed I was, because as the saying goes, no man stands taller than when he stoops to help a child. I am looking forward to my surgery and am glad Dr. Tanaka is going to do it! A+"
