It's hard to believe it's been eleven years after one of the most tragic days in American history....Eleven and a half years after my WLS, I am still doing very well and my weight holds steady within a 3 pound range from 135-138. At 5' 6" this is right where I need to be. The health problems I have experienced over the last year or so have nothing to do with the surgery but rather from a kidney stone that caused sepsis and a four day hospital stay last June of 2011. I was hospitized in May of 2012 from a tick bite that resulted in ehrliciosis and made me very sick for a couple of months.
So, I still take my vitamins every single day. I have vowed to exercise more and try to eat a little more healthier. Sometimes I feel I need guidelines like I did when I was in the Weight Watchers plan. I can eat anything I want and I never seem to gain any weight at all. In fact, sometimes I feel like I am hungry all the time. At any rate, I am still very happy with the success of my surgery from Dr. Aniceto Baltasar in Spain.
