Hi everyone!!  I had the Gastric Sleeve Survey July 18, 2015.  What a journey it's been.  I had a magic goal weight in mind of 140-150 pounds.  I've lost 66 pounds so far.  SW 235 CW 168.  I thought once I hit that magic goal weight I would be happy an

Talk about a serious NSV......I'm now in a size 10P!! I haven't seen a size 10 in over 15 years!! This is such an amazing experience! Loving yourself is such a rewarding feeling! Sticking to the plan and going to the Gym really works!!

Well after losing 38 pounds I dropped a pants size and a shirt size. I made the mistake of buying a new pair of pants a month and a half after surgery.  I ended up returning them because they were too big. So I knew I couldn't buy NEW clothes until I r

So besides the normal NSV's my biggest NSV to date is me actually wanting to go to a GYM.  I joined the GYM a few weeks ago and the first couple of days were rough. Now I actually look forward to going after work.  What??? Me???  I hated the GYM and an

This is one of the most exciting days since having the sleeve on 7/18/15!   I'm no longer in the 200's!!!  This motivates me to continue with my plan and weight loss journey!  And what a journey it has been!  Moments where I said "what have I done" to

I'm 7 weeks post op and my weight has been the same for about a week.  Still not eating a whole bunch but I'm getting my protein shakes and water in. I know and sincerely hope this will pass soon. A bit frustrating but my NSV's keep me going!!!

I'm so disappointed in myself.  I almost 7 weeks post op.  I've lost 30 pounds and I feel great.  But I made a huge mistake and fell off the wagon.  I had a Banana milkshake and low and behold I gained 1 pound.  I'm completely holding myself accountabl

It's been exactly 1 month today since I had the GSV.  My highest weight was 234 and I'm a ripe 210.  I've lost 24 pounds and I feel great!  The main reason I had the surgery is for health reasons.  I had High Blood Pressure, Sleep Apnea and was a borde

So I will be 4 weeks post op this Saturday and I swear I can't eat an ounce of meat.  I feel like I'm not eating enough. 3 or 4 bites of food and I'm done.  I guess that's the point of the sleeve huh.....Lol.  A baby can eat more than I can.  It's some

I'm so happy with my progress and my new lifestyle changes.  This surgery was the best thing I could have done. My only regret is not doing it sooner!!!  My weight the day after surgery was 234 lbs. and my weight now is 216 and it's only been 18 days.

I started incorporating solid food such as eggs and salmon this past weekend.  The Salmon was an epic fail and I will not eat that again anytime soon.  I tried one organic scrambled egg. Was only able to get half of it down.  Seems like the food is stu

I had my surgery July 18th.  It was everything I expected.  All the research I did prior to the surgery was true to form.  The hospital and staff in Juarez, Mexico was outstanding!  I feel great. Very minimal pain just soreness from the incision. Dr. R

My surgery with Dr. Rodriguez is scheduled for July 18th.  I'm going alone and my family isn't very supportive. I mentioned two words "Juarez" and "Alone".  I'm super excited to become a healthier person. I have sleep apnea, high blood pressure and my
