This week got really hard for me on a workout level.  I am doing good, don't get me wrong, but a couple days, I just didn't want to do it, but forced myself.  On the treadmill, I started a couple weeks ago at 2.5 miles per hour, I'm now at 2.8.  I can go faster on the elliptical too.  On those days I didn't want to do it, I was just having a blah day.  But got over it.  The great thing is I bought some Brooks gym shoes and while they are pricey, I'm no longer having back issues, and feel like they are putting a spring in my step, even after a 60 minute work out.  I was going to buy Asics, but decided Brooks instead, and feel i made the better choice for myself.   So, as for food, last week i made a port roast. It was really good.  I slow cooked it with a jar of peach mango salsa poured over it.  This week, I'm making Teriyaki Chicken Wraps using flat out bread as my wrap with no sugar added diced mango, and shredded cabbage..  They come to about 355 calories each only.  Well, enjoy your mother's day, good luck on your journey.
