Protein

Aug 26, 2018

When my numbers came back everything was good except my protein was low. so hubby looked up about low protein and it said possible kidney issues. But when he put bariatric low protein numbers he found something different. When protein is low and fluid intake is low it's a sort of malnutrition and dehydration.

So I am trying to increase my protein totals and fluid intake. No word from Dr. yet. I was getting about 50G of protein and about 30ish oz of water a day. Dr said he does not stress about the 64 oz to much he rather go by what the body tells him. I am having a hard time increasing the fluid intake. I have always not drank enough fluids even well before surgery. I have managed to increase my protein to about 80G . Still struggeling with the fluids. Now that school is back in session I am drinking more than before but still only about 49oz.

Today I went kayaking and after getting home decided to take my measurments. Found out almost everything has droped. Includeing weight again.
