Welcome back Tami. I didn't realize you had already had surgery, guess I lost track of time. I hope all is well with you. As for what you are eating, no it is not to much. I eat 4 oz yogurt every morning for breakfast and you are eating less then that. It is one of the easier things I eat and I can get more of it down then some things because it's so smooth. The popsicles are probrably helping to keep you hydrated and I know those first weeks it's hard to get enough liquid in. Are you having the 15 calorie popscicles? I know they are the only kind that Changing Lives wants us to have. Crab was good, low fat and protien too. It helps us going to the same practice, lol. Just try to work towards eating what the diet sheet says in your info packet. I couldn't eat 4 oz for several weeks and now I can sometimes but not every time. Christine Bauer also told me that our meal should not exceed 1/2 cup in volume. That means you could fit it into a 1/2 cup measuring cup and not neccisarly 4 oz on a food scale. I was weighing and sometimes my volume was high. They also said not to worry about not eating it all. Are you doing protein drink's? You didn't mention them in your post. Walmart has the chocolate Met RX brand for about $15.00. It's not to bad mixed with skim milk instead of water. You only need to do them for the first month. If you have any questions feel free to email me okay. When you feel good email anyway. I want to here all about your experience and what you thought. Carrie

Tami, I wanted to wish you a safe and complication free journey to the LOSING SIDE! We share the same surgery date and many Oct. 8'ers have already posted words of encouragement for me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. We have finally reached this long awaited date and we’re ready to start a new and healthy life. Just remember when you’re walking and coughing after surgery, you have a WLS friend in Georgia who is pulling for you! WE CAN DO THIS! Keep looking up….Marie

Hello Tami - <b>Congratulations</b> on your upcoming surgery. My prayers and best wishes are with you as you take the first steps down the path to a healthier and thinner you. I look forward to making that same journey soon and will be anxiously awaiting the "updates" to your profile as it progresses. Know that you are not alone and that there are MANY of us that will have you in our prayers on your very special day. Dont forget to walk, walk, WALK right after surgery, no matter how tired you are......AND drink that protein, lots and lots of it. Hugs and Aloha - Lei <i>"The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i>
