Feeling Good!!

Hello Everyone!  I am now post op 8 days and everything is going good.  I am healing extremely fast from the hernia repair.. Thank God!  Not much pain but I am getting itchy. 

The liquid meals are getting old. I now I have weeks to go before I can eat eat.  I even dream about eating turkey wrapped in lettuce.  WOW!!!  Im starting to feel alittle hungry.  Other then that things are going great. 

I made a big meal for my family last night.  I felt bad because with the surgery, I have not been able to cook full meals.  Its kind of been egg salad sandwiches, pancakes you pop in the toaster.. simply things.  So I made them a nice full meal and they enjoyed it so much.  I had a chocolate shake with bananas blended in and a cup of chicken broth.  Didnt finish the broth.  Water is going down alot easier now.  Sometimes I forget to sip when Im drinking out of the bottle.  Ouch!
