Sending thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery. For the steady hands of your surgeon and the alertness of his team. For a virtually pain free recovery and a return home with a speedy recovery. Here's to becoming a BIG loser! paula

<b>Congratulations, </b>your special day is almost here! I suspect you are experiencing a range of emotions right now. The week before my surgery I was on a natural high, almost a euphoric state of mind. I couldn't believe I was getting that "second" chance ...to LIVE life again. I wish you all the success and happiness that comes with being healthier and thinner. Just remember your overall attitude plays a large role in your recovery, keep it POSITIVE and ask lots and lots of questions. This is a new learning experience for all that choose WLS and we draw so much from each other. There can be a few challenges along the way, but no worse then sitting on the sidelines - confined by our overweight shells. You're about to break free, enjoy and embrace all the wonderful "moments" that come with this journey. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for a successful and uneventful surgery. <i> "The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i> .....This surgery has been nothing short of a miracle for me and I will be forever grateful. I've lost 230 lbs and have been at goal for a year now.
