Hi Teresa, Glad your surgery went well. I came out not wanting to wake up and then when I did I was sicker than a dog. Wasnt a pleasant thing for me or anyone on the floor. Every room I got to I got sick and was worrying about making them sick! Yuck! But after the first month it has went so fast and I am now almost 7 months out and lost over 100 pounds already. I have done so well, it has been very easy. Just read and do exactly what the charts say to eat and drink. I had trouble getting all the proteins in and fluid, but when I was able to get protein bars it has been alot better. I am 20 pounds away from my goal and feel like a new person. It is wierd to have people look at me and not recognize me. I still feel like me, but thats not what they are seeing!!! If you have any questions let me know I am just a little ahead of you in your journey!!!!!!!!!! Good luck and walk all you can, it really helps alot!! Take care, Vicki

Hello everyone, Well I'm home. Everything went very well. The only pain I'm experiencing is where my port sits. I woke up in post-op with no pain. I had to ask the nurse if they worked on me or not. LOL Good luck to all getting ready to have surgery and also to everyone who has. Teresa
