SURGERY SCHEDULED!!

Wow!!  Went to see my surgeon this afternoon and left with a surgery date.  It's like, I have worked so hard and jumped so many hurdles that I kept thinking it would keep on and on and on.  Nope, I am scheduled for surgery on Sept 20th.  Wow, this is really going to happen!  I'm a ball of emotions right now.  Emotions of happiness, excitement, hesitation, nervousness and many many more all rolled into one package.  I'll definitely keep you all posted as things transpire. 

I do have to go meet with my cardiologist on Thursday just to "get their blessing" due to the heart issues I had during my gall bladder removal several years back.  Apparently, my surgeon is just covering his bases and feels quite certain all will go well.
