There is no comparison. Barix only does bariatric related surgeries and their Surgeons are top notch!! Why go anywhere else? |

This was my first time having a surgery, so I was a bit aprehensive. Everyone from the Surgeons to the Receptionist when I walked through the doors made me feel wonderful. I wish I could go to this hospital for all of my medical needs. |

| I liked that it specifially worked with Bariatrics and that it was a preferred provider under my insurance plan and therefore covered 100% It's also great that they have a follow up program included in the process. |

Reference: Dr. Boe & Barix Clinic.
To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to take a few moments of your time; I received a folder with a questioner on it asking about my experiences with Barix Clinic and Dr. Boe etc. I felt the excellent care I received from everyone on your staff at Barix Clinic in Langhorne, Penna. Deserved better than a yes or no.
From the moment I drove up 3 hours one way and looked at the front of Barix my thoughts where that of, wow this looks very nice, then I stepped inside and from that moment on from the front desk to all the behind the scenes nurses where top notch. I would like to tell you I was very nervous about the fact of having major surgery and had many questions, Dr. Boe took the time out to answer every last question. He is a very kind, intelligent, patient Dr. To me they do not get any better than him. My girlfriend will disagree with me though, she had surgery 3 months ago and she had Dr. P. and she loves her. I wish I could have had all the Dr.s at Barix due to they all seem wonderful. But I would like to state in this letter that Dr. Boe is now my hero, and the person that saved my life and gave me a new birthday, August 6th, 2008! Two days after surgery I walked out of your hospital without diabetes, what a miracle. He is truly a asset to your hospital in Penna. I go on the web site Obesityhelp.com and there are tons of folks that just love Barix and Dr. Boe along with the other Dr.'s there, and to me other opinions do count when you’re doing your research. I also want to talk to you about the nurses there, they are the sweetest group of nurses I have ever came across, they truly care this is no act, they have a smile when they come in to start work and they still have that same kind smile when they are leaving, even though they are dead on their feet, walked from patient to patient, help with meds, showers and walking, pillow puffing, to just giving u some good conversation to help take your mind off the pain. I owe my great recover to Dr. Boe for doing such a great job and my nursing staff while I was there for 2 days. I expected to be wheel chaired out the front door, but Nurse Pam wasn't having any of that we walked hand in hand right out the front door to my loving husband. The nurses and nutritionist called a few days after I did get home to make sure I was alright and too see if I was getting all my protein in. I am going to Barix today for my 2 week checkup and I feel wonderful. I just can't believe it's been two weeks already and I am looking forward to pride fully showing Dr. Boe how I look, more so to show him that he has done such a great job so I could then continue to follow. I want to thank-you for your time in reading this, and I want to thank-you for Dr. Boe, His Staff and Barix, I love my new family and that is exactly how it feels when you come in contact with them.,.,.,. Family!

| A friend of mine also had her surgery here and raved about her doctor and the facility. I figured that since she had done her homework and I trusted her recommendation, she made my selection so much easier. |

I would rather come to this facility rather than go to my own hospital for care! State of the art equipment, top notch staff and very clean!

If you are looking for a facility, look no further. I have high expectations of a facility when I need surgery and this meets and exceeds my expectations. If you live in PA, NJ or even DE, this is the place for you to go. I traveled 2 hours to have it here. If you need a place for your spouse or sig. other to sleep, I can recommend the Sheraton Bucks Co. Get a handicapped room if possible, the bathtub is bigger, they have an indoor pool, the mall is nearby as well as plenty of places to eat and Sesame Place is right across the street. |

Bariatric Surgery is all that this facility performs. Every little detail is geared to accomodate the overweight patient. From the width of the seats in the waiting room to the size of the toilet seat in the patient rooms. Unbelievable!!! |

My doctor is the best she is caring &compassonite, I was trying to walk in
the hall the day after my surgery but my
back was hurting real bad, she came
behind me and gave me a pressure point
massage and it helped me agreat deal
Dr. Pupkova is a healer I know that
GOD put me in her hands.
I also thank God for Tara, Michele,Maryann, they are the best in
nursing care that Barix has if it was'nt
for those three women I dont know how
I would have made it out of there,they go
far beyond there duties to care for you.
GOD bless them always, also I must send
a blessing to the lady who keeps things clean
around there, I'm sorry I forgot her name but she is a sweet lady and does a
great job keeping things in order, GOD

| I did a lot of research, and found that the Barix Clinic was the best choice because this is all they do. I also did a lot of research on Dr. Pupkova and found that she has lots of experience and no mortalities which is something that relieved my anxieties. |

I cannot say enough about the staff and the facility. Dr. Marymor is an amazing surgeon who really makes himself available for his patients. The staff went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable during my stay. |

This hospital is by FAR better than any local hospital I know which performs the type of surgery that I had. |

This hospital is a special hospital only dealing with WLS patients. I felt confident with that, and felt sure that they knew what they were doing. I was confident in my surgeon, and his experience with performing more than 7 lap RNY's a week. |

I felt that Barix is a facility that has extensive experience within Bariatric surgery, excellent providers and most, if not all, the staff are extremely helpful and do what they can to aid you in the process of WLS. |

| I wanted my surgery done a the best facility I could find and what better hospital then one whose main concentration is weight loss surgeries. |

| I found it through a friend. I haven't had surgery yet but I have been to the hospital a few times, and had my PAT (Pre Admission Tests) there. It seems to be a great location and I look forward to going there for my surgery. |

| Through research. I love the fact that Barix is a stand-alone hospital and doesn't really feel like a hospital. Bariatric surgery is all they do, day in and day out so I felt very comfortable there. |

The care I received at Barix was absolutely exceptional and I'm not sure I would have experienced anything close to what I experienced had I been in a regular hospital. |

My expectations were exceeded and Barix is amazing. The facility is immaculate. The entire staff was wonderful and my surgeon, Dr. Pupkova was incredible! |
