I would recommend St. Vincent before any other Indianapolis Hospital for this type of surgery. |

| I selected this hospital because it was a Center of Excellence and also where Dr Evanson did surgeries. I also had heard a lot of people in my support group talk about it. |

| Familiar with the hospital from other procedures. A "Bariatric Center of Excellence." |
| Comments: |
Some of the nurses and student nurses were excellent and caring. However, one was like Nurse Ratched. My pain was only partially controlled. Poor communication between my surgeon and the nursing staff. |

| I had three previous surgeries at the same hospital the same year; I knew them well. It was the designated hospital on my HMO; I felt blessed it was. |

St. V/Carmel is very personal and truly lives its mission statment: A Spirit of Caring. The other St. V tries, but is too large to be personal. |

| I selected my Surgeon and this is where she operates. |

I think they are wonderful. I had several medical testing procedures to complete and they got me in and out of there in 3 hrs. When I had my surgery, all staff were very organized, efficient, kind, helpful and prompt. |
