My experience with CMC on the day of my lap band procedure, Aug 18, 2008, was exceptionally positive. Everyone I encountered that day was highly responsive, kind, and competent from my nurse Michelle to the patient transporter, "Pop." The OR staff took exceptional care of me. I highly reccomend this hospital and its employees. |

This hospital doesn't compare to other hospitals that I know of. They are better prepared, and appropriately staffed where others do not have enough staff on hand to assist patients. |

| From a friend who had used this hospital and Dr. Dyer had done her surgery about 2 years ago and she had a wonderful experience as well... it seemed only right! |

I've never had surgery before but I will say that the bed side manner of the nurses far outweighed that of nurses and doctors in other local hospitals! |

The people were very kind and very understanding of my situation and they were extremely accomodating... not to mention, they were just plain GENUINE! That makes a huge difference when someone is nice and some is GENUINE! |

I had nurses that had had the surgery so they were so knowledable and helpful. The entire staff seemed to really care about me and how I was doing. Even the dietary worker brought me a cherry popcicle everyday cause she knew I liked them. All of the employees were very special and really made my stay nice. |

Centennial Med Ctr. has gone out of its way to develop a comprehensive program for the treatment of obesity.
It treats its patients with the utmost regard and respect. It has assembled the best surgeons and support staff available, in my opinion.
It far outshines the other facilities in the area and this includes Vanderbilt! |

If I had to do it all over again I would and I would use the same Dr and the same Hospital. Everyone was so nice and understanding about your size and no one treated you like you where different or from another planet or something. From the girl in admitting to the man that pushed me to my truck, they all treated me with kindness and respect. |

| Combination of the facility and its reputation and the surgeon I wanted worked there. |

It was superior to any other I've been in. |

The obesity section is superior in every way. I was really impressed with how well they were capable of caring for me adn how safe the facility felt. Since they have a section just for bariatric patients and the staff is specifically experienced with this it helped every part of the stay and reduced any chance for infections in my opinion. |

My experience with Centennial, Women's Hospital was excellent except for one small comment.
The waiting room on the 2nd Floor where you wait before going into to have surgery. There are only TWO Bariatric Chairs.
And an obese person cannot fit in the regular waiting room furniture.
Otherwise, from nursing staff to receptionist to janitorial. Excellent care. |

Well I haven't had to spend a lot of time in any hospital, but for this surgery, they have a section of the hsopital devoted to Gastric Bypass surgery patients, and the whole experience there was Excellent in my opinion. |

The hospital was great, some of the staff members were to worried about smoking and putting on lipsick. I would change my own drains, because the staff was a little slow. They would try to run to the room and change it once the Dr showed up. |

Centennial Hospital has a very caring staff. Most hospitals have caring personnel but Centennial's staff rates above the others. I would rate it as one of the top hospitals you could enter. |

I did not know what to expect from the hospital as far as how I would be treated and viewed by the nursing staff. The gastric bypass wing was tremendously supportive and understanding and I understand there were some who had also had the surgery. I came to appreciate all of them and respect them for their care. I also loved the fact that they did not judge me in any way and were very encouraging. They understood that I am a child of God and treated me with respect. |

The nurses were top-notch. There was only one nurse who wasn't. Luckily, I only had her for around 3 hours. One of the nurses had had the procedure herself. She was very much like a "mom". Overall excellent experience with the hospital.

The staff was very good at what they do and I didn't have to wait on any of my treatment. I could hit my call button and they were there and ready to help me in just a few seconds. There was no waiting on the care that I needed. |
