How Selected:	This is where my surgeon practiced and it was close to my home. I also had all of my children here, and overall I think it's the best hospital within 50 miles of our home.
Competitors:	It is better than our smaller local hospitals, the care is great, and they are fairly well equipped for not being a "major" medical center.
Comments:	Great staff, friendly and helpful nurses (most of them at least), the food is good, and overall just a good hospital!

How Selected:	I selected the bariatric service that CMMC came with
Competitors:	Better than small regional near n=me, as good as Maine Medical the largest in the state.
Comments:	FElt it was staffed by incredibly kind, supportive staff. I was in a room near som constrction going on and there waqs exhaust fan noise all the time, that was difficult. But other than tht, it was great

Competitors:	I prefer this hospital no matter how far a drive it is for me.
Comments:	The hospital was great, the patient rooms could have used updating, but my self prefer the hospital use my insurance money for my care not appearences

How Selected:	This is where my surgeon performs surgery.
Competitors:	It is much bigger and usually much busier. They could use more nurses, but I think it is like that at every hospital.
Comments:	I can't believe how well my stay went. My nurses all said I was a star patient and the reason I was so good to them was because they were so good to me. I knew that I had to do what they said in order to get better quickly, so that is exactly what I did. They appreciated it and they earned it. My husband is having the surgery in December and I am not the least bit worried that he will be taken care of, and neither is he!!

How Selected:	This is the only hospital in the area I have ever been to. It is the only one in the area that I trust.
Competitors:	CMMC is the best.
