Its okay. I work at Willis Knighton which is the other leading hospital in this area. |

The housekeeping service is horrible. If you are trying to sleep, you can forget about it. They are very loud when cleaning. Yelling at each other up and down the halls. They act like a bunch of hoodlums! |

The OR staff at Christus Schumpert were very professional and caring. The nursing staff post op were attentive and caring. The other hospital employees; lab and techs were also very friendly and helpful. |

I dont know of any Shrevport,LA hospitals but I have been in other hospitals in LA that were a little better |

Dont get me wrong some of the staff were excellent very helpful and caring. Some had attitude like they just dont like their job or dont like people. i was ready to go. |

| This is the hospital that my surgeon is associated with. That is the reason that I chose this hospital. |

I feel that I am getting better care at this hospital then any other. I feel like the doctors, nurses and staff go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. |

I would recommend this hospital to ANYONE! I never felt that I was being pushed aside for another patient and always felt that 'I' came first.
If I ever need medical treatment again, I will, most definitely, use this hospital. |

| I did not select the hospital, that is where Dr. S Barnes did the surgeries. |

I have only been in one other hospital in the same city. The other hospital is newer, but I would pick Christus Schumpert again in a split second because they showed so much compassion for me. Eventhough it did not have all the glam of the other hospital, I felt like I could relax and not worry if I was going to break something. I felt cozy there. |

I was so please with all the nurses. I never felt like I was bothering anyone. They seemed to be very much at ease with helping someone in my condition. I love this hospital. |

| Was recommended by a former patient of Dr. Jones. Also the doctor's office was right next door to the hospital in the hospital's medical offices. |

There were several nurses that were very helpful and kind during my stay. I felt totally comfortable with them and confident in their abilities to take care of me. I would recommend this hospital to other such patients. |

I would say that they gave me better care than others I have known of. |

On my first night, I was on the GYN floor because there was no other room and that was kind of hard. The nurses were not accustomed to Bariatric patients. The next day, Dr. Jones had me moved to another floor that dealt with bariatric patients and it made a world of difference. Nurse Tommy was the greatest! |

| My surgeon was on staff at this hospital and it seemed to be a very good hospital. And I liked it also because it was a Christian based hospital. |

I found the hospital staff to be very attentive. Whenever I buzzed the nurse's station for something....it never took long for someone to come to see what I needed. One of the patient techs named Betty was the best of them all....she was always ready and willing to help me, and I know that she was very busy most of the time. |

Haven't been in any of the other local hospitals. |

Overall it was a very nice hospital with a great staff. I did have problems with one of the night nurses, but I told someone about it and it was addressed. The only thing was instead of someone else coming to me about the problem, the nurse I had "issues" with confronted me with it. That made me very uncomfortable and I got extremely upset because I wasn't prepared or expecting it. |

| I had the choice between two that are close in proximity. I chose Christus Schumpert because it is a Christian based facility and my family has used Schumpert over the years. |

I would have to say it's a cut above if for nothing else, the Christian aspect. Their mission is "To extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ." What could make you feel any more comfortable? |

I had one EXCELLENT nurse on the 3 to 11 shift. The rest of the time, I felt like I was pretty much "on my own". I definitely needed my family with me for the first 3 days. |

Overall very positive. A few mishaps here and there. Mostly with my meal trays containing things containing sugar. Which worried me. I felt well cared for at this hospital though. ALso my family was kept up to date on my progress throughout my surgery. |

It was a beautiful hospital to look at, however, I feel that the morning staff did not accomomdate me in my personal care needs. I can remember one day I asked to be put back to bed, I waited 30 minutes, no one ever came. My daughter and I struggled to get me back in bed, it was horrible. Also another time I asked for pain medicine, 2 whole hours passed, no one ever came, so I told my surgeon, and he took care of it for me. I just feel as if they failed me alot in care. No one ever helped me when I needed to walk, I always walked alone, holding the rails. But I must say their night time staff were very attentive & excellent, the absolute best. |
