Overall Value: Excellent Oversized Equipped: Average Oversized Sensitive: Excellent
Multi Security: Excellent Privacy: Excellent Pain Medication: Excellent
Quiet: Excellent Visiting: Excellent Staff Responsive: Excellent
Parking: Good
How Selected: Dr performed surgeries there. I did not have a choice then, now he also performs surgeries at another hospital
Competitors: It is a bit behind the times in appearance, but that just means procedures come 1st, glamore does not.
Comments: some of the 3rd shift nurses did need some customer service help. They didn't smile or attend to the buzzer well. But there were only 2 of them, the other nurses were fantastic.

How Selected: Friends who had surgery in Scanton has stayed there and gave great reviews - plus, it is the hospital my surgeon uses.
Competitors: I had a very pleasant experience at CMC. The staff was very supportive and encouraging about my surgery. They all wished me well!!
Comments: Though my first roomie was noisy and the hospital seemed noisy, I had a great stay at CMC.

Comments: I had the unfortunate luck of sharing a room with a very ill older woman, which did not help my stay. My room was very small, and I had to share a tv with aforementioned woman which was challenging. My room was also right outside the nurses station which made it quite loud. The nurses were really great and I was happy with how they treated me. Overall, not a bad experience but I would go for a private room next time.
