How Selected: My insurance company changed in the middle of me getting started with the procedures. I went to Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia, LA.
Competitors: I guess it was ok.. I really did not have any problems. They were very accomadating.
Comments: The only thing is that I felt that the nursing staff was not really prepared for gastric by pass patients. My stay was a week long. After I got off of the IV's, I did not get water or ice. There was miscommunication between the nurses and myself. After I threw a fit, they finally put a menu up so that they would know what I needed. I guess by pass patients were new to them.
