Comments: I would suggest having someone stay with you throughout the entire hospital stay, as the staff is not very attentive.

Comments: I was treated with a great amount of respect by the staff...They were all very helpful during my stay, i always felt like i was important, although I know they had many other patients to care for...

How Selected: I WORK AT THIS HOSPITAL AND WAS REQUIRED TO HAVE SURGERY DONE AT THIS HOSPITAL.
Comments: THIS HOSPITAL IS A GOOD HOSPITAL BUT I FEEL THAT THE STAFF DOES NOT UNDERSTAND MUCH ABOUT THIS PROCEDURE AND OUR CARE. THEY WERE NOT EQUIP FOR HEAVY PEOPLE. AT THE TIME OF MY SURGERY THEY HAD NOT PERFORMED MANY OF THESE SURGERIES. MAYBE AFTER A FEW MORE THERE STAFF AND EQUIP WILL BE BETTER FOR FUTURE PATIENTS.

How Selected: Through my surgeon.
Competitors: I think it is a lot better than the hospital in my town.
Comments: I really liked the staff they were nice and very helpful.

How Selected: It was the hospital that my surgoen uses.
Competitors: I was so impressed. I have been in other hospitals for other types of things, and I have never been treated so good as what the staff at DMH treated me. The nurses (even night shift) were right there when I needed them and were happy to take care of me, answer questions or anything else that I needed.
Comments: In general I was very please with this hospital. From my pre-op testing clear through to recovery I was impressed and happy with my care.

How Selected: The only hospital my Dr would do the surgery at.

How Selected: It was within my PPO insurance program and I had been to this hospital before. Also my family lived in the area.
Competitors: Don't know of any other hospitals as far as overnight stays.
