Competitors: I guess about the same or just below average of Hospitals in Syracuse
Comments: One day they had a very large group of student nurses there that were very very loud outside of my room milling around in the hall doing nothing, the hosp should utilize them better, let them do alot of the work the staff doesn't have time to do, like get fresh bedside water, change beds after showers, maybe get fresh linens for the patients etc.

Comments: Had a private room but it was cold. Very noisy- everything seemed to take place outside my door. Garbage, housekeeping, staff lockers. Lots of noise, banging etc. Although some of the staff had this operation, they were not helpful or forthcoming about the gas pains, what to expect etc. Had to sleep in chair because bed was uncomfortable but no one seem to care. No one reminded you to walk, you just did it on your own.

How Selected: I am from Canada, my Doctor here found Dr Graber.
Competitors: I was scared at firist to be crossing that invisable line and leaving" HOME" But what i found was there was more care here than in my home town!
Comments: As i said i am Canadain. I just guess coming from a small town here is scary because of all the things u hear about the U.S. I guess the only way u can find out that none of this is true is by going threw what i did. By the time i left the hospital i felt like i was leaving family. They were so kind and understanding and i will always be thankful for the experence they have given me.

Multi Security: Excellent Privacy: Good Pain Medication: Excellent
Quiet: Average Visiting: Excellent Staff Responsive: Good

How Selected: I selected this hospital because I was born there, my mom was there many times with cancer and because it was convenient to home.
Competitors: I like this hospital the best of all the local hospitals that could accomodate this procedure. There is one small hopsital close to home I like but could not do this procedure there.
Comments: I liked this hospital mostly, it was noisy at times. I kept having to ask for what I needed instead of it being offered such as pain meds or ice water and I would much rather they just brought it. I liked not being bothered constantly though but wished they would remember to turn lights out when they leave, keep things within your reach better, just little things.
