This particular hospital seemed a little dingy and unkempt. I think they are building a new facility, at least I hope they are. |
| Comments: |
My night nurse was great and I remember one nurse I had during the day was also great. Whomever the person is on the other side of that buzzer was absolutely horrible. Also, the staff down in radiology was also horrible. They bickered over having to serve me when they were just getting ready to go to lunch. I cried while I sat there thinking how insensitive can people be, all you care about is going to lunch when all I want to do is be able to have a glass of water. |

I would like to thank all the staff for the great care they give me during my stay, There was one nurse on 11pm shift one night I was in pain really bad, she stopped what she was doing to help me get up and walk to ease my pain and she kept checking on me many times during the night. |

I wouldnt go back to Franklin Reigonal if I can at all help it. I know I have to go there for checkups and things I'm sure but as long as I have Rex and WakeMed near home, I'm opting to go there. |
| Comments: |
The hospital itself is older, presentable on the first floor and the actual housing portion was scary. I had only one nurse employed by Franklin Reigonal was helpful and of assistance to me and my family. I can honestly say the other nurses were lazy and could not be found most of the times. My mother is an RN and stayed with me throughout my entire stay in the hospital and she cared for me, not their nurses |

Franklin Regional is A LOT smaller than any other hospital I have been to, In my opinion it was just as good as the bigger hospitals. the nurses were so nice and attentive. everyone just seemed to care. Except for the intake person in admissions...she was not a very friendly person, Kinda rude. which is sad, because she is the first person you deal with right before surgery. She just makes your first impression not pleasant...but everyone else I dealt with was wonderful. So they kinda made up for her unpleasent ways. |

I had read in other OH member postings that the hospital is kind of old and old fashioned which made me a little worried but even though it IS a little old fashioned I noticed that is extremely clean and neat and well maintained. And all the staff members I came in contact with were very nice and friendly. Every one of the lab or x-ray technicians who worked with me made a point to wish me well with my weight loss surgery.

Rex and WakeMed need to wake up and get a grip. It really bothers me that these 2 Raleigh hospitals are not more interested in saving lives. Makes ya wonder if they'd rather have all the money from your co-morbidies than anything. |

Words can not express how pleasant it was having Buffy, Monica & Stayce as my nurses. And all the CNA's were just wonderful as well. I would do it again in a heart beat!!! |
