I just wish that he utilized a hospital that was closer to my home as well. |

The hospital was fine. The only main drawback was the fact that the rooms are way too small and I would have liked to have a private room. |

The wish center has a private wing just for bariatric surgery patients. the staff has been specialy trained. They were all efficent, kind, supportive and well educated. Kudos to them all. |

| This is the hospital that the doctors that did my surgery sent me to, this was the place that they sent me to. |

In accordance to my stays at other local hospitals I would say this hospital was much better than others I have been to and would reccomend it to others. |

Excellent staff, rooms were well equipped with materials I would need for the type of surgery I was having and in general the whole staff was VERY supportive of me and my accomplishments. |

Care was attentive, call button and need for new I V handled quickly. Facility wise it is average, the care I recieved I feel was above average. |

During the 2 days of recovery the nurses where not very attentive or polite. There where only 2 out of the 12 rotating staff that where kind. Everyone else acted like they hated there job. I was NOT impressed and would not go back to that hospital. |

I can't say enough about the staff at Good Sams they were wonderful. They answered all my questions and took care of all my needs.
If I voiced a concern about anything they took care of it right a way. They were very compassionate |

Once I got to the correct floor, things went great. I was initally put on a floor that wasn't prepared for RNY, but the nurse was wise enough to recognize that I needed to be moved to the correct unit. The staff was A#1 |

I did not have any complaints with the nursing staff or
the overall staff. |

I usually go to Christ Hospital and I thought it's a much better hospital. |

I threw up old blood for the first three days because the new stoma from my pouch to my intestine was swollen closed. I was told on day two from my doctors partner that throwing up was normal and that I needed to get up and walk! When I saw Dr. Salvino on day three he sent me for an UGI and they found the blockage.
The hospital doesn't let you sleep at night at all. All night long they wake you up. One person will come in to take your blood presure, an hour later they take your temp. Two hours later they wake you for a breathing treatment. That goes on all night long. Plus the nurses at night are not quite at all. I heard them talking, laughing, etc. I also was very unhappy because on my last night there the night nurse read my urine output wronge and called the doctor (my doctors partner) who wanted to put in another cath and another IV. When I wouldn't let them I became a bad patient and I got in a fight with my doctors partner who told me I would have a major set back and it would be all my fault. Luckily, I went home the next day! |

VERY FRIENDLY AD HELPFULL TO LET ME KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN I WENT HOME. CALLED TWICE AFTER I WAS HOE O SEE HOW I WAS, AND IF I HAD ANY QUESTIONS. I HAVE BEEN TO ST. ALEXIS IN ELK GROVE AND DID NOT HAVE NEARLY THE CARE LIKE AT GOOD SAM'S. |

Doesn't come close to Central Dupage Hospital. The rooms at CDH are much bigger and nicer. |

The rooms are like closets and they stuff two people to a room. No private rooms no matter how many times you beg. The room is not even as large as my family room. The rooms are cold and sparse. My roomate had two and three visitors all the time and I couldn't get any rest or privacy. I would never go to Good Sam again unless absolutely forced. |

Yes, with Alexian Brothers. With WISH Center, they have a whole program set up for you, where with ALexian Brothers, you have to find you own pschologist and nutritionist and so on. |

My hospital stay was OK..nothing special. I was there for 4 days, and the day was based on how good the nurse was that was assigned to me that day. I had one horrible nurse who ignored me all day, and I had problems, but for the most part, they were good. |

| This is the only hospital that the Dr.'s at the WISH center use. Each of the Dr.'s are on the trauma surgeon team in the ER at Good Sam. |
