| This was the Hospital that Solutions uses for their Bariatric Program. Dr. Huerta has been a Surgeon at this hospital for as long as I remember. |

This hospital has an excellent Bariatric program, which includes sensitivity training by all the staff in the hospital. The bariatric program uses RN nurses that are assigned 1 bariatric patient to care for. They were friendly, supportive and I pretty much felt waited on hand and foot. They took care of all my needs and questions, and also walked with me. This Hospital is a wonderful choice for someone who is considering WLS. |

| Well the main reason was because I found their program, both pre-op & post-op, to be the best around. They go as far as to have dedicated staff that come in on their days off to take care of the wls patients! That's dedication & committment to me. Plus I worked there in surgery at the time and completely trusted the OR staff & Dr Huerta. |

I attended several seminars in the Nashville area, since I thought that's where I'd get the best care, being a larger city and bigger hospitals. But in all honesty, after attending a seminar at Horizon in Dickson with Dr Huerta (and this was before I went to work at this hospital), I knew Horizon had the better program, hands down! |

My hospital stay was excellent. I felt like the only one in the hospital. My nurses were knowledgeable & very supportive. I never once felt like they looked down on me because of my size. They gave me great encouragemant. The program coodinator has a geninue concern for the people she helps. Always returned my phone calls promptly and never got upset with any of my craziness in trying to get everything together before my surgery. SHe is just as concerned & helpful since my surgery. She works very hard at making you inderstand the program & your new lifestyle. I havent had a chance to go to any support groups yet but am looking forward to it. |

I had very personalized service at the hospital. The nursing staff took time to find out about me and my family. The staff at Solutions was incredibly supportive of me during the entire process. |

| I made the choice for Horizons after attending a seminar about the weight loss program they offered. Horizon Medical Center far exceeds the other major hospitals I researched. They focus on the entire package. Before, during and after. |

The nursing staff alone makes this hospital in a class of it's own. I cannot say enough good things about the sincere care I received during my stay at Horizon. A very special thanks to Kim, Stacy and Les......I love you. I will always remember how you were a part of this life changing event. You are absolutely wonderful and special and congratulations to anyone who gets the benefit of your care. |

Horizons could not have treated me or my family any better. Everyone that I worked with from administration to walking me to my car was very caring and professional. Horizon is an excellent choice for bariatric surgery. |

The nurses were very attentive and showed sincere kindness. They made the hospital stay more than just tolerable. They actually seemed to care how I felt and went above their job description to make me and my family feel comfortable!!!! |

| I had gone to my PCP to have my BP checked. Of course it was high. He told me I needed to get my weight down and I broke into tears. He handed me a brochure and I took the next step. |

This hospital and it's staff is wonderful. I was treated like I was the only patient there......I actually was for the nurse that took care of me. |

Bariatric patients at Horizon receive one-on-one nursing care while in the hospital. The hospital was very clean and safe feeling. The only trouble was the bed was uncomfortable. |

The nursing staff and hospital was very niceand helpful, the aftercare programs are so close and helpful in so many ways. Our support group meetings bring you so close to each other. We are like family. I enjoy them and all the people in them and I would like to thankl all the nursing staff for all their help. |

This hospital and the hospital staff were absolutely wonderful. I was treated very well by Dr. Huerta and all the nurses. They were great to explain everything that was going on with my progress during my stay. I feel I now have my life back. Thanks Dr. Huerta and Horizon Medical Center. |

It is much smaller than many of the hospitals with which I am familiar, but overall, I think it is a great place. |

The nurses at this hospital are extremely well-versed in care of bariatric patients and are very attentive and caring. This hospital is very aggressive at making the obese patient feel well-taken care of and they do a great job of it. I would definitely recommend HMC to anyone looking for WLS. |

| Solutions, Inc. conducted a community program concerning bariatric surgery. I was impressed with their presentation. The doctors and staff were there to discuss any questions or concerns the public had. They stated they were going to inform the entire professional staff at their facility to bring them up to speed on the procedure. I felt comfortable with their demeanor and answers. I took a brochure that night and once my paperwork was completed, their competent staff took over from there. |

I feel that Horizon Medical Center has made great strides to raise the bar on patient relations. My brother recently had this same surgery at another facility and I felt as though we were treated like a herd of cattle. There was very little communication. He was also kept in a room with 4-5 patients. It was not a pleasant experience at all. His surgery was two weeks prior to my surgery and I can assure you I had to do a lot of soul searching to make sure I wanted to go through with the surgery. I did feel very confident that the staff at Horizon Medical Center would not treat me or my family this way. |

My family and friends that were in the waiting room could not beleive the way they were kept up to date as to how my surgery was going. I had another problem that made the surgery more difficult and I was in surgery for quite some time. They were notified of my status each hour on the hour. One of my best friends recently told me she was blown away by how kind they were all treated and especially how the communications was handled. They asked lots of questions and everything was handled in a professional yet understanding way. My family and friends gave them rave reviews. |
