well i stayed with my mom at scripts in san diego when she had her bypass done..the stay there and hospital care was awesome..i wish i would of went there.. |

totally didnt like the hospital...the service there just wasnt good..it took forever just to get assistance from the nurses there..its like they didnt wanna be there or help you out..plus i was put in 2w..they should of had like seperate area just for bariatric patients.. |

Care was excellent except that they were taking blood, vitals, temps, etc every two hours. Guess that is necessary. Guy in the next room was moaning all night so I spent the nights walking the halls. Beds were very uncomfortable. CNAs were excellent and very helpful. RN were great but very busy and took longer to get to the room. Parking was very limited and constructions didnt help. |

I would rate the hospital itself as a very nice place. Very well suited for WLS patients. However, the staff was clearly overworked and many times non-responsive. I would not want to go through it again. |

Overall, my biggest issues was with the aftercare. The accomodations were very comfortable, but it simply took too long for nurses to get pain medications, one nurse screwed up my foley catheter which has since continued to cause me issues over 2 weeks post-op. I would not want to be admitted to this place again. |

Your day staff goes out of their way to accomodate everyone. Your night staff is another thing. Their kind of noisy, and if you need something you might as well wait until the day time. My favorite were Jocelyn and Andy. They were very attentive and friendly. The beds were uncomfortable and kind of small or should I say narrow. |

| This hospital is the closest to my house and also the one that my surgeon uses. They are considered a "Center of Excellence" for Bariatric Surgery. |

The first night of my stay I was in ICU. I loved being in ICU. The nurses are so attentive, caring, and just warm.
I must say that once I was moved up to the regular floor I was dissappointed. At one point it took an hour to have the nurse come take me to the restroom. |

This hospital was nice and i had a private room so i thought GREAT! They had some kind of construction going on and it was very loud.I was right by the Nurses station and they were very loud and they banged all of the cabinets and drawers. They didn't even seem to care that patients were sleeping. Everything besides that was great. |

The staff were great and very attentive. The only problem I had was they let Chritmas Carolers in singing at 10:30 pm-LOUD and annoying. I was surprised they let them do that on a surgical floor. I aksi had a couple loud, whiney, moaning room mates. Other than those two small things, it was great! |

I got a private room so I was lucky. The stay was very nice...but the cleaning people came in too much...while i was sleeping someone came in to mop the floor....the next thing I knew I woke up and went strait to the bathroom to throw up because of the smell. Also...the staff was very loud at night. I think it was because they were sitting right next to my door talking and laughing...but it was kinda annoying. One nurse I had was extremely nice with everything! Thank god for her. But the nurses assisstant was very rude to me many times..even my mom thought so. But I was rude right back to her...so she kinda shut up when I started having an attitude also. The hospital is very small. I walked all through it about 100 times....But I would recommend it anyone! It was all in all a very good hospital stay. |

It was a very nice hospital, clean, quiet, nice staff, very attentive. |

I was a bit disappointed when I went to my room from the recovery room as I asked to be placed in private room if one were available. When I was finally allowed to get up to walk I discovered that there were several private rooms available. I asked my nurse if I could be moved into one. My nurse checked into it and I was moved into a private room about 30min later. The reason I wanted to be in a private room was because I am a nurse and my first instincts are to help those around me. Everytime my room-mate made a noise or moaned it startled me and I immediately went into nurse mode asking if she was alright and I even called for the nurse once for her. I was very grateful that the staff made arrangements for me to move so that I could recover like any other patient not thinking of others but concentrating on my health. Thanks Inland Valley, your staff is very professional and compassionate. |

I prefer my usual hospital, Kaiser, in Riverside. |

There was not any available room for me, so I was kept in recovery for over 24 hours. My husband was not allowed to see me until almost 7 hours after my surgery. He thought that something horrible had gone wrong. Surgery should not be scheduled if they cannot accomodate with proper rooms. |

All the nurses except for two were very nice. The nurses aides were all wonderful! Overall I was satisfied with the care I received, but there was a VERY slow response time in answering the call button, they left me waiting for up to 20 minutes before answering! |

The hospital is a 98 bed facility, very small, but the nursing staff is very good. Handling the needs of the patients as promptly as possible. The nurses treat their patients with caring respect, and kindness. |

I enjoyed my stay at the hospital. The nursing staff was exceptional. It was very noisy all nite long (the housekeeping staff) kept me up all nite. |

The staff was good. The nurses were very kind. I had the worst roommate you could have. She had surgery on her foot. I am sure she was in pain. I was trying to be understanding. She was loud, her family was loud. She has so many visitors that first day. I was not doing so well the first day. She called the nurse every 15 minutes asking for something. To her there was no one else in the hospital. I did not get any sleep the first night. I was vommiting and that lady asked the CNA to ask me to turn off my TV. She told the CNA that she did not ask me because I had an attitude. I had not said even one word to that lady. She was impossible. After she did that I asked if I could be moved. Since they had no open beds, I had to stay in that room with her. I had no sleep that night.
I will say one thing, those nurses were so good. That lady was so rude, the nurses remained calm while trying to explain to her that she could not have pain meds every 5 minutes.
I was able to move into another room the 2nd day. That roommate was very nice. She had lots of visitors during the day. That was fine compared to the nighmare roommate I had the 1st day.
Overall, my stay was good. The staff was very responsive and kind. I wish I would have gotten one of the private rooms. I know two other people who were lucky enough to get their own room. |

The staff was cruel and confrontational about my weight, However I was able to stay in the ICU unit to avoid even more staff and patients looking at me. The nurses that tended to me were kind, but over all most just avoided me and were quite. The EMS were very helpful in helping to move and change me. I was asked to leave the hospital without treatment several times. I had to refuse to leave and demand treatment. I am trying to transfer to better facility and finding it very difficult and almost impossible to find a doctor. My daughters have been my advocates and have sought litigation to enforce my rights of being a disabled person, and my rights as a patient. My case worker told me to my face "you need to get it through your head that no is going to treat you" Please any who has information contact me or my daughters |

| It was chosen for me as my only choice through Regal Medical Groups contracting.
My complaint is that two weeks after having surgery, Regal has ok'd other patients to go closer to Los Angeles for the same procedure at Cedars Sinai Medical Center 10 miles away from me..I was made to go 91 miles away. A bit discriminatory I believe. But I have had the surgery so I guess I should not complain. But follow ups aer 70 miles , sometimes a 2.5 hour drive with traffic as opposed to a 10 mile 30 minute follow up at Cedars. But then..LIFE IS NOT FAIR.

There was some short staffing on the general wards for my last day, but I was up walking and could advocate for myself.
The ICU was wonderful, Maureen, one of the nurses, the TALL one and my night nurses where...so wonderful to me. I wish I could have stayed there till discharge. |

The Bariatric Surgery Coordinator at the Hospital was so wonderful to me. She had to watch me cry during the interview as it was emotional for me, being a widow and commenting I was so sad my late husband was not able to see this as he died almost a year before. She was kind..and had tissues. And HUGE chairs in her office. |

Staff was wonderful, & very responsive to requests. Visiting was nice---they even let my daughter visit with her 2 month old baby! I'm a RN myself, so I tend to be pretty critical, but there was no place I could improve. |

From the pre-surgery area to my room, I felt well-taken care of. I never had to wait for a response to my bell, the staff were wonderful and the halls were so nicely decorated. I liked that each shift change came in to visit and introduce themselves. My short stay was wonderful! |
