| My surgeon offered two hospitals, and they are owned by the same health system. I took the first available date on his surgery calendar, and it happned to be IMMC. |
| Competitors: |
I have been in two of the Des Moines hospitals, and my husband in one. IMMC is just as good as the other hospitals I have visited. |

The nursing staff was excellent. They were very compassionate with their work. The surgery team was very nice, for the few minutes that I saw them. The anesthesiologist was awesome. He was very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. I was very happy to have had my surgery at IMMC. |

| Dr. Eibes preforms surgeries at both IMMC and Iowa Lutheran. I chose IMMC because of previous experiences with family members being in this hospital. |

Overall, I was very pleased with the techs and nurses at Methodist. Most everyone was very helpful, very kind, and responsive to any needs I had. The nursing staff on the surg floor is wonderful! |

Much, Much better than Mercy Main in my opinion. Definitely cleaner. Never been a patient at Mercy Capital, although it's very nice when I been there for meetings. |

My biggest problem was the nursing aids who repeatedly left my call button on the chair so I could not reach it or who did not answer calls. This was a serious problem at IMMC during my stay. |

The day and evening staff are great, the overnight girls leave something to be desired. If you need something, be prepared to wait. Everything else was great except the bed. It was for MO patients, but was NOT comfy in my opinion. kind of like trying to sleep in quicksand. |

I have had family or freinds in most of the hospitals in town and I have been in Mercy but I will have to say that the stay for me was almost like a great motel I am unsure how much the hospital played but the Nursing staff was GREAT top notch , I had to ask for very little because they were one step ahead of me!!!!! I think that the nursing staff made this a lot easier for me than anything else I whis there was somthing that I could do for them !!!! |

The Hospital was clean alot of new additions seemed very large alomst like a large Univ Hospital but they still treated my family like small town and thats all that matters and they were good to me !!!!! |
