How Selected: one of 2 surgeon operates in
Competitors: I definitely liked it better than Cobb Hospital. More personal service
Comments: Most of the nurses were fantastic. My last day there I had a couple incompetent ones, that either did not handle requests quickly at all, just forgot about me, and one even spilled my jp drain on me in the middle of the night. She handled that great though in getting me cleaned up. I would recommend this hospital, but with any medical facility, be sure to voice what you need, don't expect them to be mindreaders!

How Selected: Dr. Smith's office picked them.

Comments: My husband was with me so maybe that is why I really never saw the nurses. He had to help me with almost everything. But maybe if he wasn't then they would have been more helpful.

How Selected: It is the hospital we go to here. My doctor was also affliated with only this hospital. I am very comfortable having things done there.
Competitors: I cannot compare because we do not really use other hospitals.
Comments: This is a great hospital, but they have a long way to go on working with bariatric/obese patients. Some of it is facilities, but other parts of it is the mind set of the personnel. I had a couple of negative experiences that were directly related to my obesity. I did address the situation with the management. I thought that my concerns were heard by them.

Comments: Considering you have to pay to park there every day or you can pay $20 for the week. I think my overall stay was good. My room was right across from a nurses station which was quit noisy at times. The nurses were excellent, but the techs were fair.
