How Selected: It's My Surgeons Hospital
Competitors: It was pretty ghetto.
Comments: The NURSES were amazingly attentive and very, very concerned about how much pain you're in. The NURSES truly made the whole experience liveable. THEY WERE EXCELLENT and that's the only thing that truly counts! I wouldn't have hand picked this hospital but since I had no choice- I dealt with it.

How Selected: My doctors affiliation
Competitors: I only know the other local hospital for its pediatrics area, so I guess they average the same.
Comments: The night after surgery there was a nurse that would not let me out of bed. I was hving severe pain in my chest area, I knew it was gas, I KNEW i needed to walk and she kept coming in and pushing my morphine button. Finally I disconnected myself and got out of bed. I WAS MAD! *She no longer works there* A word to the wise, all follow up blood work done here requires you to be "admitted". So allow extra wait time! Im still trying to figure out the online admitting!

Competitors: It is a small hospital but excellent. The other hospital in town is larger but still only 3 stories, it's pretty ghetto and a lot of people I know have horror stories from experiences there.
Comments: The staff was great. The pre op people made me feel very relaxed and confident. The RN's LVN's CNA's and Student Nurses were all very carring and quick to respond to my needs and checked on me periodically even when I didn't call them.
